Jojo should be on the fast track to her own successful racing career, but after her mother passes away in a racing accident, her father says it is out of the question. She is stuck working a summer job at her grandmother's auto shop. That's where she meets El Blum, who turns up at the shop with an adorable scowl, tough-girl vibe, and a mystery to solve. She has lost all contact with her sister, Max, and is trying to find out what happened to her. Together, Jojo and El investigate her disappearance, and may just fall for each other in the process.
