A little fox is out hunting one day when he comes across the home of a kind old man with a white beard. The man feeds the fox and goes to bed, and the fox soon falls asleep as well. Later, spring arrives, and the old man begins making toys and filling the shelves in his home. When the first snow begins to fall, letters arrive from all over, and the fox helps the old man collect them. Then, one winter evening, the man loads up the toys on a sleigh pulled by reindeer and invites the fox to join him on a very special journey.
