Still haunted by her old life and family past, and the scandal that won't let her go, Bram escapes to the small town of Louth on the Hudson River to spend time with her uncle, James, who is renovating a mansion. James, however, is haunted by the death of his wife and the rumor that his own daughter set the fire that killed her. The mansion itself, however, may have the worst past--the Dead Girls are girls from the town who were found dead within its walls, and their ghosts may not be very welcoming to their new owner.
