During the summer of 1943, women soldiers Frangie, Rainy, and Rio accompany the American Army to Sicily to fight on the front lines. The Nazis are still rampaging across Europe, and the US has had women soldiers on the front line for a year now. During the summer of 1943 Frangie, Rainy, and Rio accompany the American Army to Sicily. They must brave terrible conditions in an endless siege, while fighting their own personal battles.
