In a dark alley in a mean city, a young girl fights an old woman for her bag. The old woman will only give up the bag if the girl makes a promise. The girl does, and later discovers the bag is full of green acorns. Her promise to plant the acorns changes her life and the lives of many others as she transforms the city around her.
