Eighteen-year-old Hunter and his half-sister Ashlin go to stay at their dad's for the winter and reunite with their childhood friend, Chance. They soon discover that Chance is hiding a dangerous secret, and when someone turns up dead, Hunter and Ashlin try to prove Chance's innocence. However, Chance is a perpetual liar and the siblings first have to learn what is true and what is not.
