When the body of Robin, the Boy Wonder, is found in a pool of blood in the Gotham streets, the GCPD has to solve the mystery of his death, working around the often hindering interference of Batman and the Teen Titans. On the investigation is Detective Renee Montoya, whose life is falling apart just as the Spectre, the most powerful being in the universe, selects her to become the new Spirit of Vengeance.
