A novel in paintings and photographs. The piano prodigy Glory hid in her music after her mother's death and all her life after her father has raised her to be a world-famous concert pianist. When the boy Frank moves in next door, however, and Glory is introduced to his artwork, her piano skills seem to vanish overnight until all she can play is "chopsticks." Soon Glory disappears, and the reader is left to question what in her life was real and what was madness.
