Being only one of very few white students, he adopted the mannerisms, lifestyle, and Gangster rap of his black comrades and started using drugs at the age of twelve. Describes his nightmarish existence and destructive behaviors that eventually brought him into rehab. Discusses his downward spiral in a brutally honest but often humorous manner and relates his struggle to overcome the horrors of his childhood and achieve a normal life.
