Tara's life in Halifax is pretty good compared to that of her friend Jenn who spends a lot of time on the street and at a place the locals call Hell's Hotel. But when Tara's boyfriend Ron writes an exposé on Hell's Hotel, Tara's life begins to fall apart. Then tragedy strikes and Tara and Jenn find themselves relying on each other. They promise each other that together they will make changes in their lives.
