Allen Walker, a fifteen-year-old boy, who lives in nineteenth-century England, decides to wander the world searching for "Innocence" which is a strange substance used in making weapons that kill demons. These demons are called "akuma and they are arriving in Edo to join the Earl in a project involving a great biblical artifact.
