This story is adapted from an ancient Chinese myth that tells the tale of Lin-Lin, a girl who loves seagulls. Each day on her way home she visits her friend, an old lady, who cannot visit the sea. One day, the old lady asks Lin-Lin to capture her a basket of gulls to keep in her hut to make her happy. Lin-Lin is forced to make a decision between the happiness of her friend and the freedom of the seagulls.
