Although B is now a zombie, her brain still works and she is part of a group who survived the transformation called zom heads. The world has gone crazy with zombie attacks and the government wants to study B to learn how to fight them. Meanwhile, B struggles to come to terms with her past actions, her present body and situation, and her bleak future.
