An unseen narrator tries to convince herself that spiders are not gross things to be reviled, but in fact are interesting, cool even, and she should not scream, run away, or squash them whenever she sees spiders. She lists off the different shapes, colors, and abilities of spiders, but has a hard time accepting them, before the end.
