An indictment of the current juvenile justice system in the United States that argues that isolating delinquents is the worst thing we can do because it denies them the positive relationships with caring adults that are essential to their growth and rehabilitation. Youth from all over the country tell their stories of trying to retain their humanity and individuality in a system that denies them both and offer an alternative to the current system.
