Calvin, a divorced airman in the U.S. Air Force and Teddy's childhood friend, becomes involved when he lets the depressed Teddy stay at his place. Then a video surfaces that shows Sabrina being murdered, and the killer commits suicide. The press descend on Calvin's place and soon Calvin becomes the next target of conspiracy theorists who threaten him and his young daughter who lives with Calvin's ex-wife. Calvin struggles to help his friend Teddy get back on his feet and to protect his own sanity, while Sandra copes with her grief and the need to move on.
